A new standard for Employee Experience
Albert Heijn

@AH is the new personal employee app, specially designed for and with Albert Heijn employees. Through extensive research, validation, design, and development, Albert Heijn has brought the digital standard that employees know from consumer experiences to the workplace.

Situation and challenge

Albert Heijn, the largest supermarket chain in the Netherlands, aimed to enhance its employee experience. The objectives were to improve retention, increase efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline their tech landscape, which consisted of over 40 applications. However, Albert Heijn faced a significant challenge: identifying the problems and potential solutions that would enhance the employee experience across various roles while accommodating the complex tech environment.
